InfoComm 2025: Connecting with the digital signage community
Screenly’s team recently attended InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, Florida. Despite concerns about potential low attendance due to the absence of major TV manufacturers, InfoComm attracted over 31,000 attendees from 97 countries, surpassing expectations. Our team really enjoyed engaging discussions about digital signage, security, and innovative use cases with industry professionals and AV specialists. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi!

Screenly Partner Program: Designed for growth
Screenly formally launched its comprehensive Partner Program at InfoComm 2025! Led by Udi Nachmany, our new Head of Channel, this initiative aims to support integrators, resellers, managed service providers (MSPs), and distributors. The program provides partners with tools and resources to scale their digital signage offerings, deliver secure and user-friendly signage solutions, and build profitable, long-lasting relationships. Beyond buzzwords: Genuine security in digital signage
Security was a significant topic at InfoComm, and we discussed the importance of moving beyond mere marketing buzzwords. Viktor highlighted the importance of real security measures, emphasizing comprehensive lifecycle management and ongoing software updates. Screenly’s unique approach involves proactive security management, clear documentation, and robust security architecture from the start of each product’s development, setting Screenly apart in the digital signage industry. Learn more about Screenly’s approach for enhanced digital signage security.
Integrated mobile data connectivity
Feedback at InfoComm revealed a strong demand for simplified mobile data connectivity solutions in digital signage. Many AV integrators and venue managers emphasized the need for plug-and-play signage solutions, especially where Wi-Fi is limited, restricted, or unreliable. Screenly is actively exploring solutions to enable easy mobile data connectivity, aiming to simplify deployments and significantly reduce setup times and complications.
Optimized signage for live events and house of worship use cases
A recurring theme at InfoComm was the critical need for seamless live feed integration, especially for live events and house of worship environments. Screenly is already developing functionality to effortlessly toggle digital signage content to live streams during events and automatically revert post-event. This capability addresses common real-world challenges faced by large-scale AV operations, ensuring seamless, uninterrupted communication and enhanced viewer engagement.
Tizen App launch: Expanding compatibility
We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of Screenly for Samsung’s Tizen OS. This addition is part of Screenly’s broader effort for comprehensive coverage across major platforms. Screenly can now operate on dedicated Screenly digital signage players, Android devices, Chrome OS, web browsers, and now Tizen, further increasing hardware flexibility and deployment ease for customers.
Digital signage industry insights and trends
Viktor recently participated in a panel discussion at Digital Signage Summit Europe in Munich, addressing key industry trends such as managed signage services. Analyst firm Invidis highlighted managed signage as a rapidly growing sector due to the benefits of centralized lifecycle management and streamlined troubleshooting that results in increased uptime—trends aligning closely with Screenly’s strategic focus.
Congratulations to Dave Haynes
Finally, a special congratulations to Dave Haynes, founder of Sixteen:Nine, on his retirement! Dave significantly influenced the digital signage industry and notably introduced Screenly to the broader digital signage community.
