Content delivery

The path your content takes to each screen, and how caching keeps it playing offline.

You add content, build a playlist, point it at some screens, and then you stop. Everything after that, the journey from your account to the glass on the wall, happens on its own.

These pages follow that journey: how delivery runs itself once you have set things up, how a screen starts playing before everything has even arrived, and why it keeps playing when the network does not.

  1. 1 It runs itself Once content, playlists, and screens are set up, delivery takes over. The cloud prepares files and screens sync them on their own.
  2. 2 Content shows as it arrives A screen does not wait for a whole playlist to download. It plays what it has and fills in the rest, so content appears as fast as possible.
  3. 3 Played from the device Content plays from a local copy on the device, so playback stays smooth and screens keep running through a network outage.
