First name, last name, and company. These identify you in the members list of every workspace you belong to, which is the practical reason to fill them in: a members list of email addresses is hard to read.
Your email address is your identity. It is where one-time sign-in codes go, where invitations arrive, and how account merging works.
Changing it requires confirming with a code sent by email, so you need access to the mailbox to make the change.
Keep this an address you can actually reach. Passwordless sign-in and account recovery both depend on it, and a departed colleague’s closed mailbox is what turns a five-minute change into a multi-day recovery process.
Time zone
Every date and time in the dashboard is shown and entered in this time zone, and the page shows your current local time so you can check it is right.
This is yours, not the workspace’s and not a screen’s. Two people looking at the same playlist in different countries each see it in their own time.
It does not affect playback. Schedules run in each screen’s own local time, which is set per screen. Your profile time zone changes how you read a schedule, never when content plays.
Worth setting correctly anyway. A schedule that looks like it starts at 09:00 to you and 03:00 to a colleague is a conversation nobody enjoys.
