Screenly Anywhere asks for very little: a device that can display a web page, an internet connection, and a Screenly account.
A supported device
Anywhere runs on Samsung commercial displays, LG televisions, Android and Android TV devices, Amazon Fire TV, the Amazon Signage Stick, ChromeOS Flex, and any current browser, which is how Windows runs it. Supported platforms has the detail on each, including which Samsung and LG lines are covered.
If a device can open a current browser and stay awake, it can almost certainly run Anywhere.
An internet connection
The device needs normal outbound internet access, the same as a phone or a computer. It only ever connects out to us, so there is nothing to open up or forward on your network.
Two things to avoid, because a screen cannot work around either:
- A guest network with a sign-in page. A screen cannot click through a “click here to accept” page.
- A device set to sleep or power off on a timer. Check the device’s own power settings before you mount it.
If your network is restricted, IT requirements has the hostnames and ports to allow. An Anywhere screen needs the Screenly entries only.

Signing up takes an email address and starts a free trial with no card required. You need an account before pairing, because a screen joins a specific workspace.
