# Digital signage on the Amazon Signage Stick


> Pair an Amazon Signage Stick with Screenly as your CMS provider through the Amazon Signage console, and run it as a managed screen.
The Amazon Signage Stick is purpose-built signage hardware from Amazon. Unlike a Fire TV Stick, it is not a television accessory adapted for the job, and it does not run an app store you install a signage app from.

Screenly is available as a CMS provider for it, so a Signage Stick can be managed from the same dashboard as the rest of your screens.

## How it works

You add the stick in Amazon's own Signage console and choose Screenly as the CMS provider. The display shows a pairing code, you enter it in your Screenly dashboard, and the screen joins your fleet.

There is no app to install on the device, which is the main way this platform differs from every other Anywhere route.

## What it is good for

Screens that need to run unattended with as little device configuration as possible. Because the stick is built for signage rather than for watching television, it does not ship with the sleep timers and screensavers that have to be turned off on consumer hardware. There is no unattended-running setup for this platform.

Organizations already deploying through Amazon's signage tooling, where adding Screenly as the CMS fits the process they have.

## What to weigh against it
