# Adding content


> Four ways in: upload a file, add a URL, point at a stream, or install an app.

**New content** has three tabs: **Upload**, **Web**, and **Streaming**. An app arrives by a different route, through the [App store or the CLI](/docs/content/adding/install-an-app/), and lives under **Apps**, not in **Content**.
