> [!NOTE]
> Moving up costs nothing to migrate. Your screens, content, and playlists carry over untouched, and only the plan and its licenses change.

## Licenses

One connected screen uses one license, drawn from a pool your plan provides. Disabling a screen returns its license to the pool.

A license covers a device rather than a panel. A multi-display board driven as one continuous picture from a single device counts once, whatever the panel count.

Users are counted only on Starter, which allows two. Business and Enterprise have no user limit.

## What is included

The software running on your screens costs nothing extra. Both [ScreenlyOS](/docs/screenlyos/) and [Screenly Anywhere](/docs/anywhere/) come with your subscription, updates included, on every plan.

There is no operating system license, no per-device software fee, and no charge when a new version ships. A screen license covers the screen and everything running on it.
