From Playlists, open the menu on a playlist’s row and choose Duplicate.
What comes across
The copy is named <original> (copy) and carries the content in the same order with the same durations, the schedule, the priority setting, the transition, and the labels.
Which means it is a working playlist, not a shell. That is also why it arrives disabled.
The copy keeps the original’s labels and schedule. Enable it before changing those and you have two playlists competing for the same screens at the same times. Rename it, adjust the targets, then enable.
What it is for
A variant for a different site. Duplicate, swap two or three items, retarget the label.
A safe edit. Duplicate before restructuring a playlist that is live on a hundred screens, work on the copy, then swap the labels over. The original keeps playing throughout.
A seasonal template. Keep last year’s version disabled, duplicate it, update the dates.
When not to duplicate
When the content is the same and only the audience differs. That is one playlist with two labels. Two copies of the same content will drift, and the day someone updates one and not the other is the day it matters. See Across many screens.
