Workspaces are isolated: content and screens in one are invisible from another. Sharing a playlist is the deliberate exception.
Shared playlists are an Enterprise feature.
What sharing does
The receiving workspace can assign the playlist to their own screens and labels, and control where it plays. They cannot change what is in it, rename it, or alter its transition.
The content stays hosted by the sharing workspace. Update the playlist once and every workspace showing it follows.
That is the arrangement for brand-controlled content across regions, a central team feeding local teams, or an agency running screens for a client.
Sharing one
You need Admin or Owner rights in both workspaces.
- Go to Playlists.
- Open the menu next to the playlist and choose Share.
- Pick the target workspace and confirm.
It appears in the receiving workspace’s playlist list, where searching for shared finds it.
On the receiving side
Assign it to screens exactly like your own playlists. Its content tab is read-only, and the settings that belong to the owner are locked.
Stopping
Unshare from the same menu. The playlist stops being available to that workspace, and their screens stop playing it on the next sync.
The alternative
If both teams should be able to edit, they want the same workspace or linked workspaces, not a shared playlist. Sharing is deliberately one-way.
