The Mk1 ships with a VESA mount adapter, so it hangs on the back of the display with no bracket to buy. It fits the standard 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm patterns.
You need a cross-head screwdriver.
- Insert the two shoulder screws into the bottom of the player.
- Attach the VESA plate to the display using the four screws provided.
- Align the shoulder screws with the holes in the plate and slide the player down so it hangs on them.
Mount the display first, then hang the player, then connect the cables. In that order you are never supporting the weight of the display and reaching behind it at once.
Note
Leave room for the cables to bend. A short HDMI run pressed flat against a wall puts steady strain on the port, and that becomes an intermittent display fault months later.
