# Mount with VESA brackets

> Mount a Screenly Player Max Mk2 to the back of a display with a standard VESA bracket, which is not included.
The player mounts on the back of the display at the standard 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm patterns.

> [!NOTE]
> No bracket is included with this model. Only the [Mk1](/docs/screenly-players/models/player-max-mk1/guides/mount-with-vesa/) shipped with a VESA adapter in the box.

## What to buy

A VESA bracket rated for the player's weight, in 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm to match your display.

Check what the display itself needs before ordering. A large-format panel may already be using its VESA holes for a wall mount, in which case you want a bracket that sandwiches between the two rather than one competing for the same screws.

## Mounting

Follow the bracket's own instructions, and work in this order: mount the display, attach the player, then connect the cables. That way you are never supporting the weight of the display and reaching behind it at once.

> [!NOTE]
> Leave room for the cables to bend. A short HDMI run pressed flat against a wall puts steady strain on the port, and that becomes an intermittent display fault months later.
