Mount with VESA brackets

Mount a Screenly Player Max Mk3 to the back of a display with a standard VESA bracket, which is not included.

The player mounts on the back of the display at the standard 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm patterns.

Note

No bracket is included with this model. Only the Mk1 shipped with a VESA adapter in the box.

What to buy

A VESA bracket rated for the player’s weight, in 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm to match your display.

Check what the display itself needs before ordering. A large-format panel may already be using its VESA holes for a wall mount, in which case you want a bracket that sandwiches between the two rather than one competing for the same screws.

Mounting

Follow the bracket’s own instructions, and work in this order: mount the display, attach the player, then connect the cables. That way you are never supporting the weight of the display and reaching behind it at once.

Note

Leave room for the cables to bend. A short HDMI run pressed flat against a wall puts steady strain on the port, and that becomes an intermittent display fault months later.
