It arrives with ScreenlyOS installed and tuned to the board, so there is nothing to flash and nothing to configure on the device. Plug it into the display and the network, turn it on, and it shows a pairing code.
When to pick something else
For 4K, for a TPM and Secure Boot, or to drive more than two screens from one device, you need a Player Max. Those are properties of the board, so no software setting adds them here.
