Hardware

The devices ScreenlyOS runs on, what each one can do, and how to get ScreenlyOS onto the ones you supply yourself.

ScreenlyOS runs on several kinds of device, and they are not interchangeable. Resolution, the number of displays one device can drive, and the security features available all depend on the hardware.

Each device has its own pages: what it is and what it can do, then how to install ScreenlyOS on it where that applies.

Our own players and Sharp large-format displays arrive with ScreenlyOS already installed, so there is nothing to flash. On a Raspberry Pi or a Scala player you install it yourself.
