Reinstalling ScreenlyOS on a Screenly Player, which uses the public Raspberry Pi image on the standard model and a support-supplied image on the Max.
Both models arrive with ScreenlyOS already installed, so there is nothing to do here to get a new player running. Boot and pair the device is all it takes.
These pages are for reinstalling: a card that has failed, a player being redeployed, or a device you want to return to a clean state. How you do that depends on which model you have.
The standard Screenly Player is Raspberry Pi based, so reinstalling ScreenlyOS uses the same public image and the same steps as any Raspberry Pi.
The Screenly Player Max image is not a public download. Contact Screenly support and we will send you the image and the steps for your device.
