On the Workspace tab.
Name
What people see in the workspace switcher, and what appears in invitations. Rename it whenever; nothing depends on it.
The name is also what you type to confirm a transfer of ownership, which is the one moment it matters.
Branding
Your logo and colors, held against the workspace so that where Screenly would show its own, it shows yours.
You set two logos and three colors, because backgrounds vary:
| Setting | Used on |
|---|---|
| Light logo | Dark backgrounds |
| Dark logo | Light backgrounds |
| Light color | Dark backgrounds |
| Dark color | Light backgrounds |
| Accent color | Highlighting important elements |
Logo requirements
SVG, PNG, WebP, or JPEG, no larger than 1 MB.
A bitmap must be exactly 512 by 512 pixels. An SVG only has to be square.
Use the SVG if you have one. It stays sharp at any size and is usually the smallest file. A PNG with transparency is the next best thing, since it sits correctly on both the light and dark backgrounds.
Getting it right
Upload the light and dark logos as an actual pair, not the same file twice. The point of having both is that a logo with dark lettering disappears on a dark background, and the failure is invisible until somebody sees the wrong one.
Check the accent color for contrast rather than picking it straight from a brand palette. Brand accents are chosen for print and for large areas, and some are unreadable as small text.
