The dashboard updates in real time, starting with the screen page
The dashboard now keeps a live connection to Screenly, so a change shows up the moment it happens instead of the next time you refresh. When several people look after the same screens, everyone sees the same thing at the same time, and nobody acts on a page that went out of date 5 minutes ago.
The screen page is the first to work this way. Leave a screen open and it keeps itself current:
- A teammate renames the screen, edits its location or notes, or disables it, and you see it right away.
- The screen’s connection to Screenly drops or comes back, and the page shows it.
- A screenshot you asked for appears as soon as the screen sends it.
If your own connection drops for a moment, the page catches up on whatever it missed as soon as it’s back.
