everyone the same thing: every Screenly Player Max read as a Mk1, with the Mk1 photo, whatever
revision it actually was. Raspberry Pi based screens had the opposite problem, showing no board
revision at all.

Both now read what the player itself reports, so the model name and the photo on the device card
match the hardware in the room. If you have a mix of Player Max revisions across sites, each
screen’s Overview now tells you which one it is.

Screenly 26.8.7: The dashboard refreshes when you come back to it

Leaving the dashboard open in a background tab and coming back to it is how most people use it
all day. Until now that tab kept showing whatever was true when you left, so a screen that had
gone offline in the meantime still looked online until you reloaded by hand.

Returning to the tab now reloads what it shows. Statuses, playlists and content are current as of
the moment you looked, not the moment you last clicked.

Screenly 26.8.7: Old links to the Apps pages work again

When the App Store and your installed apps
became separate sections, both changed address,
and anything still pointing at an old one landed on an error page. That included saved bookmarks,
and the install links on screenly.io that send you into your dashboard.

Old addresses now redirect to the right section, and anything you had appended to them, such as a
particular app, is carried across.

Screenly 26.8.7: Help Center links keep your place after you sign in, and other fixes

Fixes

Signing out through a link that sends the browser to the sign-out page now lands on the login
page, instead of showing a page of raw data.

Signing in from a Help Center link now keeps the exact page you were sent to, including its
query string, rather than dropping you at the wrong Help Center page.

Improvements

Screen counts on Home and the Screens page no longer animate. They’re easier to read at a glance,
and easier on anyone sensitive to motion on screen.
