26.9.3
- Improvement Content management
Name a web page when you add it
The Web tab of the New content dialog has an optional Title field, so a web page can go into Content under a name you chose instead of its address.
- Fixes and improvements
Email from Screenly shows Screenly as the sender, and other improvements
Emails name Screenly as the sender, confirmation codes for account changes last 10 minutes instead of 1, and Tab goes from PIN to name when connecting a screen.
26.9.2
26.9.1
- Improvement Security
The sign-in code is sent as soon as you enter your email
Submitting your email address on the sign-in page sends the code straight away, and the code page names the address it went to.
- Fix Security
A sign-in code that cannot be sent now says so
The sign-in page carried on as if a code had been sent when the email had failed, and asking for another one invalidated the code you already had.
- Improvement Content management
Leaving a playlist with unsaved content now asks first
Leaving a playlist with unsaved changes on its Content tab asks you to confirm, so the items you added and the order you set are not lost to a stray click.
26.9.0
- Fix Content management
The Add content dialog sees your newest content
A folder you just renamed, or an app you just installed, now appears in a playlist's Add content dialog without reloading the page.
- Fixes and improvements
Pages and images load faster, and other fixes
The dashboard loads faster, the App store no longer blanks on apps missing details, and search icons, spacing, and label capitalization are fixed.
26.8.8
- New
A new Lobby page for your workspaces and invitations
The Lobby is where you land when you sign in. It lists every workspace you belong to with your role in it, and your pending invitations, which you can now accept or decline in Screenly.
- Improvement
Signing up with Google no longer creates a workspace for you
A new account made with Google no longer gets a workspace created automatically. You create your first workspace in the Lobby when you're ready, and your free trial starts then, not at sign-up.
- New Apps
App settings can hide options that do not apply
An app's settings form can reveal a setting only when it is relevant to your other choices, and present its settings in a deliberate order. App developers declare both in the setting's schema.
- Fixes and improvements
Content search skips empty folders, and other fixes
Fixes to Content search, deleting apps, changing your email, and revoking screens, plus faster links around the dashboard and support accounts off your member limit.
26.8.7
- Fix Device management
A screen now shows the player model it actually is
Every Screenly Player Max was identified as a Mk1 with the Mk1 photo whatever its revision, and Raspberry Pi based screens were not showing their board revision.
- Improvement
The dashboard refreshes when you come back to it
Returning to a dashboard tab you left open reloads what it shows instead of leaving minutes-old information on screen.
- Fix Apps
Old links to the Apps pages work again
Bookmarks and links pointing at the previous Apps addresses now redirect to the current App store and Apps pages instead of hitting an error.
- Fixes and improvements
Help Center links keep your place after you sign in, and other fixes
Signing in from a Help Center link lands on the exact page, signing out through a link reaches the sign-in page, and screen counts no longer animate.
