Editing content on a live screen no longer crashes the player

Changing a playlist or a schedule while screens were showing it usually went through cleanly, and occasionally didn’t. When it didn’t, the player crashed and restarted, or, when 2 changes arrived close together, the screen played an item from the earlier change for its full duration before the latest one took over.

Which of those happened, and whether anything happened at all, depended on what the player was in the middle of at that moment. That’s why the same edit could be fine on 1 screen and go wrong on the one next to it.

Neither happens now, whatever the player is doing when your change arrives.
