The setup screen shows wired as connected only when the cable is

The setup screen showed a player’s wired connection as connected whenever the player had any way onto the network. A player running over Wi-Fi with nothing in its ethernet port read as wired and connected, which is no help when you’re standing in front of it trying to work out what’s wrong.

Wired status now follows the cable and the link. An unplugged cable says so, and a cable that’s plugged in without an address says that instead.
